Georges DELABIE, sanitary wholesaler in Paris, took over in 1928 the management of a foundry in Friville, located on the Somme. Here he mainly develops taps and floor levers for bathrooms and kitchens.
The following generations always strive for a growth of the family business, but want to preserve the identity of the brand and the excellent quality.
DELABIE quickly decides to leave the domestic market behind and position itself as a specialist for public buildings. Even today, this is still the main target group.
The investments in Research and Development ensure that the brand stands for high quality. In less than a century, DELABIE becomes an unmistakable player in the non-domestic sanitary market.
The DELABIE group is today European leader in faucets and sanitary fittings for public buildings and is developing further internationally through the start-up of branches and acquisitions of companies that allow the offer to be expanded.
